Position Summary: The Child Care Center Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative operations of the child care center. This includes managing records, supporting staff and families, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements, and maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment. Key Responsibilities: Leads tour with prospective families, highlighting key features/points of difference with our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc. Greet and assist parents, visitors, and staff in a professional and friendly manner Manage lead, child enrollment, admissions paperwork, and waitlists Maintain accurate and confidential records for children, staff, and center operations Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence Collect and record tuition payments; assist with invoicing and billing Ensure all state licensing documentation and child immunization records are current Order and manage office and classroom supplies Coordinate communication between families and staff Assist with event planning, newsletters, and parent communications Support daily operations including attendance tracking and incident report logging Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred) Previous experience in child care or office administration Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Familiarity with child care licensing requirements is a plus Working Conditions: Full Time or Part Time Fast-paced child care environment Must be able to sit, stand, and move between classrooms and office spaces Occasional lifting of supplies or children (up to 25 lbs)
