As a Child Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and joyful space for our children while supporting our dedicated nursing and direct care staff. What You’ll Do: Support Our Care Team Assist nurses and LNAs by responding to call bells and providing help as needed. Alert staff to any concerns or children requiring attention. Help set up dayrooms and positioning equipment for the children’s comfort. Transport children to and from various areas of the facility. Assist with preparing and cleaning up meals and snacks. Create Joy & Connection Engage children in activities, outings, and playtime. Spend quality one-on-one time with children, helping them participate in recreational activities. Support small group activities to foster social engagement and development. Keep Things Running Smoothly Help maintain a clean and organized environment by stocking supplies, tidying play areas, and assisting with laundry. Clean and sanitize toys, tables, and positioning equipment to ensure a safe space for all. Organize children’s closets and drawers to keep their personal items neat and accessible.
