JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing environment. We are currently seeking candidates for the role of child care assistant at our Bellwood Location in Whitby. The position is 5 hours per day Monday-Friday split shift working 7:30-9:30 & 3:00-6:00 @ $23.40 (inclusive of split shift premium + wage enhancement)

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in early childhood education or caregiving is preferred.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and educational practices is beneficial.
• Experience working with children of various ages, including those with disabilities, is highly valued.
• A strong understanding of child development principles and the ability to educate through play-based learning is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting are required.
