Manages new hire paperwork and all employee files in compliance with state licensing regulations Maintains employee engagement practices that that creates a culture of professionalism and support CUSTOMER FOCUS · Leads tours with prospective families, highlighting key features and points of difference of our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc. · Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress · Executes “parent pleasers” · Execution of our Show and Tell app · Regularly audits and maintains all records and files for students and teachers · Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards are full compliance with local and state licensing regulations · Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations · Responsible for accident/incident reporting · Medication management · Conducts monthly emergency safety drills · Manages new customer administration and files in compliance with state licensing regulations Qualifications: MUST CURRENTLY MEET VIRGINIA’S “PROGRAM DIRECTOR” REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree (preferably in ECE, a child related field, business, or marketing) The Center Director must comply with minimum standards, as set forth by current company policies and government regulations. Must have professional teaching experience in a school, childcare facility, or early childhood education program Two or more years of center leadership/management experience highly preferred. At least one year of center leadership/management experience required. Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations. Demonstrate excellent organizational and leadership skills Understand general business procedures Strong customer service and communication skills Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by the State and company regulations and procedures First Aid & CPR certification (Infant/Child & Adult) To be considered for this position, applicants must demonstrate proof of education and prior management experience.
