Little Champs Academy has a Director opportunity available.
As Director, students, parents, and instructors will look to you for answers, direction, and assistance. You will be trusted with a wide range of tasks that will be essential to the smooth running of the program as well as to the development of the children.
Some of the exciting things that you will do as a Director include, but are not limited to:

We are seeking a Center Director to lead our program. This role will :

  • Positive, motivated, organized, and dedicated leader.
  • Oversee curriculum to include planning, implementing, and evaluating age - appropriate curriculum
  • Monitor lesson plans for content and quality, and follow through
  • Coordinate learning tool rotation between classroom
  • Observe staff for performance evaluation and curriculum adherence & completion
  • Design and monitor staff development
  • Conduct orientation to educate new staff members on safe thinking and actions, state regulations, and center policies
  • Provide continuing education at staff meetings for good employee behavior & ongoing educational opportunities for working with children, health related information, etc. via journal articles, reports from classes attended, speakers, media, etc.
  • Observe and coordinate daily operations
  • Identify, and work to reduce and eliminate, safety risks
  • Address parent and staff concerns
  • Identify overall building and center needs including maintenance and cleanliness
  • Collaborate in community projects and business visibility via community service and public school projects
  • Schedule staff for appropriate coverage with budget responsibility

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
  • Minimum one year experience in a supervisory, managerial, or coaching role, 5 years in a teaching role preferred
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to lift a child weighing 40 pounds multiple times per day
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
