ABOUT US:

Our dedicated teams of educators embrace a child’s right to play and facilitate rich learning environments which are relevant, meaningful and full of possibilities, so children are safe, happy, healthy and included. We offer a range of services for children to suit their age and family preferences including early learning and care centres, out of school hours care, vacation care and family day care.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our St John the Baptist Early Learning Centre is a purpose-built preschool on the grounds of St John the Baptist Catholic Primary School. At our Early Learning Centre we provide a range of activities for children aged between 3 and 5 years of age so that each child can engage in something they are interested in.
We are looking for a Child Care Educator that can understand the needs of a child and create a fun, warm, caring and safe environment. This role is a permanent role working in the preschool room during school term from 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday and will be on paid leave during the school holidays.

We know that changing roles is a big decision – so here is what we can offer you:

  • Salary packaging – also known as salary sacrifice - means allocating a portion of your salary to pay certain expenses before income tax is calculated. So, on pay day you pay less income tax and have more money for the things that matter.
  • A sign on bonus of $1,000 (conditions apply $250 on commencement and $750 at the end of probation).
  • Access to training and learning opportunities and study leave
  • An Employee Assistance Program offering free and confidential counselling and support.
  • Additional paid leave day over Christmas.
  • Be recognised and rewarded at our Hope Awards night
  • Baby bonus paid for eligible primary career
