Description Position Summary: The Child Craft Room Attendant is responsible for providing a safe, clean, and engaging environment for children while their parents utilize club facilities. This position requires an enthusiastic, nurturing individual who enjoys working with children and creating a fun, interactive atmosphere tailored to a range of 6 months up to 12 years. Essential Duties Set up and clean up the craft room before and after use. Always supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children. Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment. Sanitize toys and surfaces regularly, to uphold hygiene standards. Exhibit a nurturing, patient, and loving demeanor with all children. Design and lead engaging games, age-appropriate fitness activities, and creative arts and crafts projects. Demonstrate an understanding of child development and behavior management. Communicate clearly and professionally with members to build trust and confidence. Provide coverage for the receptionist during scheduled breaks when not attending to children. Plan and prepare monthly crafts aligned with holidays and seasonal themes. Monitor and restock craft room supplies, including but not limited to paint, markers, glue, wipes, sanitizers, batteries, and cleaning products. Support any reasonable requests from the Fitness Director or supervisor. Requirements Certificates: CPR/AED/First Aid Adult and Infant Abuse Training Sexual Harassment Physical: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
