CHILD LIFE SPECIALIST: DAY HOSPITAL/RESOURCE About the Job: This Child Life Specialist will serve as a generalist for all units (as needed). Location: Burnet Campus, 3333 Burnet Ave., Cincinnati OH 45220 Status: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 1.0 FTE Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-4pm. Weekend & holiday coverage is working every 8th Sunday ($5.00/hr weekend differential added to base base.) 2-3 holidays required per year. Benefits eligible and 30 days of paid time accrued per year. Unused PTO rolls over. Pay starts at $53,705.60 annually (as a salaried/exempt employee) and can increase based on years of experience. REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a related field required. Completion of child life internship under the supervision of a certified CLS required. Must be Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) within one year of hire. In addition, Clinical Assistants provide important opportunities for play-based activities that promote coping and normalization.
