As an Executive Officer (EO) within the CMS Communications team, you will work closely with the communication and engagement team, contributing to the creation of audience-focused, visually engaging content. You will play a key role in supporting the development of fresh, innovative, engaging and visually impactful communications products and campaigns that communicate CMS policies and campaigns.
This position is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced in-house team, producing high-quality visuals and content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will:

  • Support the creation of visually appealing and accessible products across a range of media to support CMS internal communications activities, including business communications, colleague campaigns, change projects, conferences and annual events.
  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders to gain an understanding of their requirements and develop relevant written and visual content, seeking regular feedback through governance processes to assure high levels of accuracy.
  • Support the development of clear, concise and engaging content for internal and external communications that aligns to the CMS style and tone of voice.
  • Provide admin support for the Internal Communications team including: managing the national Comms Inbox, responding to incoming questions, providing digital/tech support for large scale meetings, collating and creating material for regular and adhoc communications, ensuring issued within set timeframes.
  • Be responsible for maintaining the CMS communication work plan and forward look, keeping the CMS comms and engagement team activities tracked effectively
  • Maintain, regularly review and improve the CMS SharePoint site, managing the content renewal notifications from the intranet.
  • Take an active approach to self-development, seeking to constantly adapt and update your skillset.

Responsibilities

At stage 2 you will be invited to an interview via Microsoft teams. All elements of the interview will be via video link, and the whole process should take approximately 30 - 40 minutes. This will be a blended interview consisting of 2 types of questions, behaviour questions and strength questions. A blended interview aims to be more of a conversation at interview, offering a more inclusive approach.
