About the Role The Child Safety Lead Practitioner provides expert leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based child safety services. The role is responsible for building practice capability within the specific service delivery context. Working closely with regional service delivery managers, the Lead Practitioner ensures the localised implementation of practice improvement initiatives that align with best-practice standards. The role drives and supports change, continuous learning, and service enhancement to improve outcomes for children and families in regional settings. This position operates under the guidance of the Principal Practitioner. Additionally, the role contributes to the development, implementation, and evaluation of professional practice frameworks, policy, governance, and practice review processes within regional service delivery contexts.
