Under the supervision of the Senior Member Experience Director, the Child Watch Associate ensures the safety of all children in their care. This is the perfect job for moms, bring your little one with you while your older children are at school. Job Duties: Supervise a group of children and program activities for children from 3 months old to 12 years old. Follow all policies, procedures, and standards as established by the law or the YMCA (e.g., safety or emergency procedures, behavior guidance strategies, child abuse prevention policies) Speaks in a tactful and courteous manner to parents, YMCA members, and fellow staff. Projects a professional image, including neat appearance, positive manner and dependable attendance. Attends and participated in program activities and staff meetings. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: Must be at least 16 years old Previous experience working with children preferred CPR, First Aid, AED certifications required within 30 days of employment Previous experience with diverse populations preferred Schedule: Hours vary- Please let us know what your availability is when applying Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00/hour. Responsibilities
