We are looking for a passionate and experienced Program Supervisor to join our team and oversee the successful operations of one of our Therapeutic Programs in Burnaby.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Program Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of a Therapeutic Program, providing leadership and supervision to staff, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The Supervisor acts as a community liaison, ensuring effective communication with stakeholders, neighbors, and other service providers. This role requires a combination of administrative, supervisory, and hands-on support skills to create a stable and well-functioning care environment.
This position is Monday-Friday, 40 hour/week, with occasional evenings/weekends as needed, and includes joining the Weekend On-Call Supervisor rotation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Diploma in a related human/social service field.
Experience: Minimum three years of recent related experience, including one year of supervisory or administrative experience (or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).
Specialized training in behavioural modification, trauma-informed care, attachment-based parenting, and relationship-based interventions.
Strong knowledge of employment standards, health and safety regulations, and supervision principles.
Certifications required: First Aid & CPR, CPI and/or MANDT certification (we will train those who require this)
Must have access to a vehicle, hold a valid B.C. Class 5 Driver’s License, and have business insurance with $3,000,000 liability coverage.
Ability to cover 24-hour on-call duties when required.
Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Strong leadership, supervision, and team development skills.
Experience managing budgets, scheduling, and service plans.
Excellent relationship management skills, including working with funders and community stakeholders.
Knowledge of child and youth care approaches, behaviour management, and intervention strategies.
Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and handle conflict professionally.
Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Commitment to ongoing professional development for self and employees.
Some computer literacy and ability to learn new systems.
Salary: $29.00-$30.15/hour plus benefits
