Job Types: Part-Time or Full time.
At Innova Academy Early Education, we’re passionate about nurturing young minds and building strong, supportive relationships with families and staff. We’re currently seeking a quality Assistant Centre Director who brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine love for early childhood education.
This is a dynamic on/off-the-floor leadership role, supporting the Centre Director in the daily operations of our service while inspiring and guiding our team.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Assistant Centre Director, you will:

  • Work closely with the Centre Director in the day-to-day operations of the centre
  • Step up to lead the centre in the Director’s absence
  • Provide support, guidance, and mentoring to educators
  • Build and maintain respectful, genuine relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for working with children and educators
  • Champion a safe and nurturing environment at all times
  • Support compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Actively engage in advertising and marketing initiatives to help grow centre occupancy
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality care
  • Take initiative and effectively manage time and priorities

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • ✅ Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education (ACECQA-approved)
  • ✅ Current Working With Children Check
  • ✅ First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Management Training
  • ✅ Child Protection Training (Mandatory)
  • ✅ Experience in a leadership or management role within early education
  • ✅ Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • ✅ (Preferred) Competency using OWNA or similar software platforms
  • ✅ Professional presentation and mature leadership approach
  • ✅ Excellent written, verbal, organisational, and time management skills
  • ✅ Confidence in promoting the centre and building enrolments through local advertising and community engagemen
