ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll primarily be responsible for planning and preparing nutritious meals and snacks for children.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan, prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and allergy requirements
• Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen in line with Food Safety Standards (HACCP knowledge preferred)
• Manage records, food orders, stock rotation, and menu planning
• Work collaboratively with educators to promote healthy eating habits through classroom activities

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, IT IS ESSENTIAL YOU:

• Have work rights that enable you to work in Australia
• Hold a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent), OR hold food safety and food handling qualifications
• Hold or be willing to obtain an employee VIC Working with Children Check and National Police Check
