About the role This position is responsible for planning and implementing a nutritional menu for children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age within the Early Learning Centre. You will be expected to implement a nutritious menu that caters for all dietary requirements of the children. You will also be expected to maintain a hygienic kitchen and maintain all documentation in line with the statutory requirements. About You The successful candidate should have: Previous experience planning and implementing a nutritional menu for children from 6 weeks to 6 years of age within an Early Learning Centre Certificate in Food Handling, Nutrition and Menu Planning. Sound knowledge and experience in food preparation, nutritional standards, menu preparation, food hygiene practices & kitchen management. Demonstrated ability to work within a set budget. First Aid Certificate (HLTAID0012) Working With Children Check Clearance Number What’s on offer We are offering a permanent part time opportunity, providing 22-hours a week with an attractive remuneration from $73,172 to $80,554 (pro rata) plus 12% superannuation.
