About the Opportunity
Uniting Susanna Early Learning Oxley Park supports families with education and childcare, including a preschool program. We are open long hours for children aged two to five years.
Our service offers a home-like atmosphere with bright and welcoming indoor learning spaces and stimulating outdoor environments that are designed to engage and inspire. We value every child as an individual with a unique personality, interests and needs, so we can best help them to unlock and achieve their potential while enjoying their time in our care.
We are currently seeking a versatile Cook who can potentially also support the team as an Educator. This is a permanent part-time role offering the unique opportunity to combine your love of cooking with meaningful time in the classroom.
What you’ll be doing
AS AN EDUCATOR (WHEN REQUIRED), YOU WILL:
- Step in to support the team during peak times, leave coverage, or special activities
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment
Who we’re looking for
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and/or Cooking Qualification (Essential)
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education (Desirable)
- Experience in preparing meals in an early learning or similar setting
- A flexible, can-do attitude and willingness to support across roles
- A team player who lives our Uniting values: compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold
