Contract and permanent roles for Year 6 and Year 7 core teachers, commencing January 2027.

We are planning a bold, new approach to learning in Years 6 and 7 in 2027, and we are looking for teachers with backgrounds in both primary and secondary education to join us in creating cross-curricular, project-based learning experiences in our Year 6 and Year 7 programs. We commence learning in the secondary phase with Year 6, and the core teacher role is a key pastoral and academic figure in the lives of both Year 6 and Year 7 students as they transition into the secondary school. Teaching across core subject areas including English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, and Christian Studies, the core teacher has the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the young people in our care by inspiring a love of learning with an authentic and engaging curriculum. You will work with a small, dynamic team of educators with excellent leadership from our dedicated Learning Leader and Wellbeing Leader to make Years 6 and 7 a highlight of students' time at GSLC.

Good Shepherd is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 Lutheran College that serves the families of the breathtakingly beautiful Noosa district on the Sunshine Coast. Centrally located 130kms from the Brisbane CBD, Good Shepherd Lutheran College is situated on a 9.5 hectare campus. The College has a total enrolment of approximately 1100 students. Our College is part of the ministry of The Lutheran Church in Queensland and has strong ties to the Noosa Lutheran Parish. Good Shepherd has built a recognised record of both academic success and Christian care.
