ing Support Teacher will work collaboratively with classroom teachers, coordinators, school leaders and families to identify, plan and implement effective learning support programs for students requiring additional assistance. Applicants must have a minimum of two years' experience working as a Learning Support Teacher and a proven ability to support students with diverse learning needs through targeted intervention and collaborative practice.
Key Responsibilities
· Support students with diverse learning needs from Kindergarten to Year 6.
· Plan and implement targeted intervention programs in literacy and numeracy.
· Conduct assessments to identify students requiring additional support.
· Analyse student data to inform teaching and intervention programs.
· Develop, implement and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs).
· Collaborate with classroom teachers to differentiate teaching and assessment.
· Provide small-group and individual intervention sessions.
· Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
· Work collaboratively with school leadership, coordinators, teachers and teacher aides.
· Liaise professionally with parents and external agencies where required.
· Assist with NCCD evidence collection and documentation.
· Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive school culture.
· Maintain confidentiality and comply with child protection and safeguarding requirements.
Essential Criteria
The successful applicant will have:
· NESA accreditation (Proficient Teacher or eligible).
