The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and qualified Early Childhood Educator (Diploma Qualified) / Teacher (working towards) to join our beautiful service as a Lead Educator of our Preschool Room. Be part of Chilverleigh as it sets a benchmark for high quality education and care programs to children aged zero to school age. 

The Role

  • Permanent part/full-time position (4 days - 26/38 hours) 
  • Motivate and lead a team of educators in the Preschool room who have passion and dedication.
  • Develop a lifelong love of learning through child-led enquiries, connections to our local primary school and positive experiences within our community.
  • Design, implement and evaluate educational programs for our children, allowing for the unique and individual interests and strengths of each child.
  • Support the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards

 About You

If you have a genuine passion for working with children aged 0-5 years old, have completed a Diploma in Children's Services / and/or working towards Bachelor in Teaching or Early Childhood Education, and if you are extremely confident with the EYLF and NQF then this is the role for you.

  • A Diploma in Children's Services (Non-Negotiable)
  • Has minimum 5 years experience in a Lead Role (Preschool aged group) 
  • A current Working with Children’s Check
  • A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • A current First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Child Safe Training Certificate
  • Child Protection Training Certificate – with a current refresher certificate
