Description Location: Island Village Elementary School – Kissimmee, FL Pay and Status: $18.00–$20.00 per hour | Part-Time About the Role Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a Childcare Site Director to lead our Before & After School and Summer Programs at Island Village Elementary. This role is perfect for a hands-on leader who enjoys working with children, supporting staff, and running a high-quality program in a structured, well-supported environment. You’ll manage daily operations at one site, supervise a small team, and ensure a safe, engaging experience for children—while being supported by a Regional Director, established curriculum, and proven systems. Schedule School Year Monday–Friday 6:30–8:00 AM and 3:00–6:00 PM Summer Program Monday–Thursday 6:30 AM–5:00 PM Pay $18.00–$20.00 per hour (based on experience) Key Responsibilities Lead, train, schedule, and support program staff Maintain compliance with Florida childcare licensing and Healthy Kids policies Create a safe, positive, and engaging environment for children Communicate clearly with parents, school staff, and leadership Manage attendance, timekeeping, and basic payroll submissions Support enrollment growth and community engagement Implement Healthy Kids curriculum and summer camp programming Partner with Regional Leadership to continuously improve program quality Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: Associate’s degree with 2–3 years of supervisory experience Active Florida Director Credential (required) Completion of 40 hours of required training (current documented transcript required) CPR/First Aid certification Superior administrative and supervisory skills, preferably in a consumer-driven environment Excellent customer service and communication skills Proven ability to work as part of a team and help create a team-oriented work environment Commitment to delivering excellent programs and managing personnel expenses Must pass a full background check, including fingerprinting and reference checks Must be medically fit to perform job duties Professional, reliable, passionate, and prompt with a warm, friendly, caring, and upbeat personality Excellent time management skills PART-TIME PERKS: Employer-paid childcare for school-age children (ages 5–13) on days worked Telehealth benefits Vision and dental insurance AFLAC supplemental plans 401(k) for eligible employees Paid sick time On-demand pay Career development and advancement opportunities About Healthy Kids Programs Healthy Kids Programs is a rapidly growing provider of Early Learning, Before & After School, and Summer Camp programs, serving over 100 locations across New York.
