AMHC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Children’s Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) to join our Home and Community Treatment (HCT) Services team in Houlton. As a Children’s BHP, you’ll provide in-home support and behavioral health services to children experiencing social-emotional challenges, helping them and their families build practical, lasting skills right in their natural environments. Key Responsibilities: Work alongside an HCT Therapist to deliver therapeutic interventions based on individualized treatment plans. Support children and families in their homes, including during evenings and weekends when needed. Use evidence-based practices to teach children coping, communication, and behavioral regulation skills. Help families understand their child’s development and implement strategies to respond to behavioral health needs. Maintain accurate, timely case documentation following AMHC policies and standards. Collaborate with schools, hospitals, and other service providers to support holistic care. Assist in crisis response and work closely with AMHC’s Mobile Crisis Services when necessary. Participate in treatment team and Behavioral Health Home meetings, contributing to integrated care. Why Join Us? This individual will also need to complete the Behavioral Health Training within specific timeframes outlined in the policy regulations.
