We’re seeking a motivated, creative, and passionate individual to join our Community and Neurodevelopmental Paediatrics (CNP) Team. This rewarding role offers the chance to work alongside a dynamic and diverse team, with peer support from Ashley, our Community Clinic Facilitator, who plays a vital role in community services .

Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE:

As a Children’s Community Clinical Support Worker, you’ll ensure children, young people, and families attending our community clinics have a positive, supportive experience . You’ll contribute to exceptional care and enhanced patient outcomes, working with a team that consistently goes above and beyond .

CORE COMPONENTS OF THIS ROLE ARE:

To assist the CNP Team by providing a high-quality clinic facilitator service within the outpatient setting, ensuring the smooth running of outpatient clinics , meeting the needs of children and their families, and liaising with appropriate staff .
To obtain CYP’s growth measurements and observations to aid in clinical decision-making .
The post holder will work independently without direct supervision .
To develop and maintain strong management and organisational skills .
To act as a patient advocate, ensuring privacy, dignity, and confidentiality are met .
To monitor and ensure patient satisfaction, being proactive in managing any issues that arise .
You will have the opportunity to be involved in exciting service transformation plans , enhancing the environment alongside your core role expectations, working closely with the Community Paediatricians ‍ ️ ‍ ️, and actively participating in innovative activities and projects that enhance patient service delivery .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the Community Neurodevelopmental Paediatric Team by providing high-quality clinic facilitation services within the Children’s community outpatient setting , ensuring the smooth running of outpatient clinics and meeting the needs of children and their families ‍ ‍ ‍ . This includes liaising with appropriate staff to ensure seamless service delivery .
Obtain children’s growth measurements and relevant observations to support clinical decision-making .
Work independently without direct supervision from qualified staff , while maintaining the ability to escalate any concerns as needed.
Develop and maintain strong management, organisational, and time-management skills .
Act as a patient advocate, ensuring privacy, dignity, and confidentiality are upheld throughout the care process .
Monitor and ensure patient satisfaction, proactively addressing and managing any issues that arise .
