CHERISH CHILDREN’S CARE ARE LOOKING FOR A DEPUTY MANAGER FOR OUR RESIDENTIAL CHILDREN’S HOME IN BACUP.

This exciting opportunity will allow the right candidate the ability work with an established organisation in further developing their career within the residential children’s sector. Working alongside the home’s registered manager you will support the day to day management of the home and the young people who live with us.
Our homes are created to provide a safe and caring environment for children and young people with emotional and behavior difficulties. As a therapeutic service each home will have the support of a team of in house Therapeutic Practitioners who will work alongside you and the home manager in the delivery of our care and support plans.

Experience:

  • children’s residential setting: 1 year (required
Responsibilities

· To support the home’s Registered Manager in the delivery of our services to the highest professional standards offering leadership to the team of Residential Support Workers and Senior Residential Support Workers.
· To ensure that the provision of support to the young people exceeds the National Standards outlined by Ofsted.
· To ensure the delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual young person through assessment, person-centered planning and regular outcome focused reviews of services.
· To conduct themselves at all times in a manner which is complementary to the values, goals and expectations of Cherish Children’s Care.
· To manage resources, information and quality.
This full time position will require regular working hours but actual attendance can be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate, flexibility will be required to ensure that the home is fully staffed at all times in this integral leadership role.
