Aspire Children Services, located in North and South Manchester, is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Ofsted rated ‘Good’ team. Our home accommodates up to 2 young people and a staff team of 8.
We are looking for passionate full-time Deputy Manager /Trainee Registered Manager about making a difference, who can be a good advocate and problem solver, and who is interested in progressing to a home manager position. Full support will be provided for role fulfilment and career progression.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full UK driving license (international licenses are not accepted unless issued in a country with a reciprocal arrangement)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • Experience in a Children’s home setting
  • Supervisory experience
  • Understanding of OFSTED regulations and standards

Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise staff members to ensure efficient and compassionate care delivery.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
  • Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate with other professionals and families to provide comprehensive care.
  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the home living facility.
  • Lead safeguarding in the absence of the home manager.
  • Complete paperwork to a high standard.
  • Be organised and an advocate for the young people.
