SUMMARY

We are seeking a Deputy Manager to join our team at The Medusa Project. This role is pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of our therapeutic services, ensuring that we provide a safe and supportive environment for our children and young women. The Deputy Manager will play a key role in fostering emotional resilience and promoting independence among our children and young women.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a Children’s Home setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in developing care plans tailored to individual needs.

  • Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the therapeutic project.

  • Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to maintain high standards of care.
  • Foster a positive environment that promotes emotional resilience and independence among all.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organisational policies.
  • Conduct regular assessments of young people’s’ progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on best practices in therapeutic care.
