ABOUT OUR CHURCH:

Solomon’s Porch Singapore is a vibrant, non-denominational, and multi-cultural community committed to growing in Christ and reaching the nations. We are currently seeking a passionate and visionary Children’s Ministry Program Director to lead and grow our ministry to children from infants through primary school age.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Children’s Ministry Program Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the children’s ministry, including program development, volunteer training/coordination, curriculum planning, and parent communication. The ideal candidate will have a heart for children, strong leadership and administrative skills, and the ability to minister cross-culturally within a diverse congregation that includes English, Mandarin, and Korean-speaking families.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Over 10 years of experience in leading or serving in children’s ministry (church or parachurch setting)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team of volunteers
  • Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Korean, as we have a number of Chinese and Korean speaking families.
  • A degree in education, theology, children’s ministry (or related)
Responsibilities
  • Plan, lead, and evaluate weekly children’s programs (Sunday Service, holiday programs, special events, etc.)
  • Select and adapt biblically sound, age-appropriate curriculum
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and support a team of volunteers
  • Build strong relationships with children and their families
  • Communicate regularly with parents to support faith development at home
  • Ensure all child safety policies and protocols are followed
  • Collaborate with church staff and pastors to integrate children’s ministry into the life of the church
  • Organize and lead special events such as Family Workshops, Children’s Day, and family outreach events
