Maplecrest Vineyard Church is a welcoming Christian community in Winnipeg with a heart for worship, discipleship, and outreach. We are looking for someone who loves children, enjoys teaching, and desires to help them grow in their understanding of the Christian faith.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Sunday School Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and is committed to sharing the love of Christ in a safe, engaging, and creative way.

Responsibilities

• Teach and lead a children’s Sunday School class during the church service.
• Plan and prepare age-appropriate lessons and activities.
• Create a safe and welcoming environment for children.
• Encourage participation and engagement through stories, crafts, and discussions.
• Collaborate with church leadership to align lessons with the church’s vision and values.

Qualifications

• A personal Christian faith and alignment with the values of Maplecrest Vineyard Church.
• Experience working with children (church, daycare, teaching, camp, or similar) is preferred.
• Enthusiasm, patience, and creativity in teaching and engaging with children.
• Ability to work with parents and church leadership as part of a team.
• A clear background check and child safety training (provided if necessary).

• Hours: Sunday mornings (approx. 2–3 hours per week).
• Compensation: $50 per Sunday.
• Location: Maplecrest Vineyard Church, 906 Cottonwood Rd., Winnipeg, MB.
