ST THOMAS’ NORTH SYDNEY

We are looking for a full-time Children’s Ministry Worker to join our staff team from Term 1, 2026. This role will be suited to a mature Christian leader who is passionate about seeing children come to know, love and follow Jesus. It is an exciting opportunity to invest in the spiritual lives of children aged 0–12, while supporting and equipping parents and volunteers for long-term discipleship. The ideal candidate will be someone with a love for kids, a love for God’s Word, and the ability to lead, train and inspire others.
The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in an environment where God’s Word is central, and gospel ministry is a team effort. You’ll be working closely with and reporting to the Assistant Minister (Children, Youth & Parents) and a dedicated group of volunteers to oversee a range of children’s ministries, both in the church and local community.
St Thomas’ is a medium-sized, contemporary evangelical church on the edge of North Sydney’s CBD. We exist to glorify our great and gracious God by knowing, loving and proclaiming Jesus. We believe this happens as we listen prayerfully and humbly to God’s life-transforming word.
