Job Summary: Erlanger serves as the regions only Children's Miracle Network (CMN) Hospital connecting national-level fundraising programs to local pediatric care priorities. As part of the Development team within the system's integrated Marketing & Communications & Development enterprise, the Children's Miracle Network & Community Giving Manager plays a central role in supporting grassroots fundraising, national campaign partnerships, and local community giving initiatives. Reporting to the Development Director, this position works at the intersection of community engagement, donor stewardship, and campaign coordination. It supports Erlanger's role as a CMN hospital, while also helping develop community-based fundraising relationships that expand the health systems visibility and philanthropic footprint. The CMN & Community Giving Manager manages Erlanger's partnership with the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals), including coordination of national and local fundraising campaigns with CMN corporate partners (e.g., Walmart, RE/MAX, Costco). This role serves as Erlanger's internal CMN program lead ensuring campaign execution, partner engagement, and fund disbursement align with program standards and local impact goals. In addition to CMN responsibilities, this position supports community giving initiatives, such as small business campaigns, school fundraisers, civic group partnerships, and peer-to-peer efforts. The Manager plays a key role in donor acknowledgment, volunteer coordination, and community-facing fundraising communications. Education: Required: Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, or a related field Preferred: Experience: Required: - 3�5 years of experience in fundraising, community engagement, or nonprofit program coordination - Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple partner relationships simultaneously -Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred: - Experience working with a CMN Hospital or national nonprofit campaign platform - Familiarity with donor tracking systems or CRM tools - Background in healthcare, education, or child-focused organizations Position Requirement(s): License/Certification/Registration Required: N/A Preferred: N/A accurate documentation of donations and supporter records. Key Responsibilities Children's Miracle Network Partnership Management - Serve as Erlanger's primary liaison to Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, ensuring program compliance and effective communication with national CMN leadership. - Manage the planning, coordination, and implementation of all CMN-related fundraising campaigns across corporate partner locations (e.g., Walmart, Dairy Queen, Ace Hardware). - Coordinate materials, training, recognition, and reporting to ensure smooth execution and successful fundraising across partner sites. Community-Based Giving Initiatives - Identify and support grassroots fundraising opportunities in partnership with schools, churches, youth organizations, civic groups, and small businesses. - Provide guidance and resources to community partners initiating fundraisers benefiting Erlanger, especially children's services. - Develop engagement and stewardship plans for community giving partners, ensuring ongoing relationships and campaign renewals. Campaign Execution & Coordination - Plan and manage CMN fundraising campaign calendars in collaboration with corporate partner timelines and Erlanger events. - Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to develop materials, signage, and digital assets supporting CMN and community giving visibility. - Track campaign performance and ensure timely fund reporting, disbursement tracking, and impact communication. Donor Stewardship & Public Engagement - Acknowledge and recognize community giving participants and CMN partners through thank-you communications, social media spotlights, and impact updates. - Participate in community events, corporate check presentations, and pediatric care storytelling opportunities to raise awareness and inspire continued giving. - Coordinate with the Development Operations team to ensure accurate documentation of donations and supporter records.
