FULL TIME PERMANENT POSITION, 40 HOURS PER WEEK, OPERATING ON A FIXED ROTA, HOWEVER FLEXIBILITY WILL BE REQUIRED WHEN NECESSARY, INCLUDING EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS, PLUS:

All staff are professionally qualified or working towards a qualification in therapeutic skills to enable them to tend to the children and young people’s practical, physical, and emotional needs.

Working with vulnerable children and young people you will be expected to:

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Within the last 5 years, worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children
  • Worked for at least 1 year in a role requiring the supervision and management of staff, working in a care role
  • Experience of managing or assisting an Ofsted inspection
  • In depth knowledge of Quality Standards and Children’s homes regulations
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young people) essential
  • Must be willing to work towards Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s Service or equivalent if not already acquired
