OVERVIEW

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals within our home. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their independence. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for.
We have a fabulous opportunity to join our hardworking and reliable team as a Children’s Residential Support Worker (full time only), changing lives and providing bright futures for our young people aged 11-16, and providing them a place they can truly call home, a safe haven where they can thrive and grow into adulthood comfortably.
Based in our warm and welcoming residential homes in Stoke, where we can care for up to 3 young people with challenging behaviours. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual who share our ethos and commitment to creating a home environment filled with laughter and memories that will last a lifetime.
A full UK manual driving license would also be preferred

Experience working within a UK based children’s residential homes is desired but not essential.
Preferably applicants should have experience around challenging behavior’s and young children and can commit to our shift patterns which will include a long days and paid sleep Rota’s.
Starting salary for the role will be £31,406, for unqualified workers and £36,920 for Seniors that hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. We currently have multiple job positions within both of these pay grades. THESE SALARIES BOTH INCLUDE A ‘SLEEP IN’ ALLOWANCE BASED ON 2 SLEEPS PER WEEK.

SKILLS

  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and their families.
  • Experience in childcare or working with children is an advantage.
  • Ability to develop and follow care plans meticulously.
  • Previous experience caring for children or individuals with special needs is beneficial.
  • Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating via digital platforms.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
