THE ROLE

This is a hands-on role supporting children with autism, complex needs, and emotional or behavioural challenges. You’ll be based in a residential home with a strong reputation for excellence in care, working in small, family-style dorms alongside experienced support staff.

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with children
  • Assist with vocational and social development activities
  • Deliver sensory play sessions (full training provided)

  • Promote a positive and structured home environment
  • Be an emotionally available adult — calm, adaptable, and understanding
  • Communicate regularly with parents and professionals about the child’s progress
  • Maintain accurate safeguarding records and daily logs
  • Take part in day trips and outdoor activities such as shopping, climbing, and bowling
