Heartwood Care group is seeking support workers to join their Learning Disability homes based in Gidea Park,London on a full-time basis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Learning difficulties and how these may impact the lives of the young people that we support.
  • Empowering, approachable and resilient worker who can inspire young people to engage in all aspects of their daily routine
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce) are desirable.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all issues relating to the safeguarding of vulnerable children and/or adults are reported according to policies and procedures and in accordance with the safeguarding policy.
