AN EXPERIENCED RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKER FOR CHILDREN IS ESSENTIAL TO APPLY FOR THIS POSITION.

As a team leader for a residential support worker in a children’s care home, you will be joining our company at an exciting time. You will be the first of our growing company where there is huge scope for career progression.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a valid Right To Work in the UK
  • Must be aged 21 and above
  • Must hold UK Manual Drivers Licence
  • Have NVQ Level 3 or above in children’s residential care or equivalent
  • Detailed knowledge of the children’s home regulations and standards
  • Evidence of having transferable skills that you can bring to our children’s home
  • Must be fully flexible in working hours Monday - Sunday, including sleeps.
  • Residential Children’s Support Worker: 1 year

Responsibilities

Working as a valued member of leading a team, having a clear understanding of the children’s care home standards and regulations. You will enhance the children’s psychological recovery by being a positive role mode and offering a comprehensive residential service to children and young people, the aim being to ensure the physical, social and emotional care, and development of of our young people in a safe and caring environment.
You will work towards enhancing your teams training progression and one of the first point of contacts with in the children’s home as part of the senior team.
