COMPANY OVERVIEW
We are offering a £1,000 WELCOME BONUS to our new support worker recruits (subject to terms). Unique Care Group is a therapeutic organisation that works with young people with learning disabilities in residential settings at Shrewsbury SY1 and the surrounding area. We are currently looking for support staff to join our growing team.
We are looking for responsible, caring, hardworking children’s residential care staff to join our team of therapeutic practitioners. Ideally with experience in residential care and an awareness of child protection & safeguarding, however not essential as full training will be given to applicants who can demonstrate the required qualities.
The role will entail providing high quality care for our children and young people, this will include supporting our young people physically and emotionally. The main function of this role is the responsibility to provide a safe, nurturing environment, ensuring the best possible care.
Only candidates who are currently based and eligible to work in the UK will be considered for this post.
The post holder will be required to drive children in a company vehicle (e.g. school run)
REQUIREMENTS:
No qualifications or previous experience required, you just need to be committed and have a passion for our young people enabling us to help enhance their quality of life and future. Our dedicated team will provide training to equip you with the necessary skills to deliver these beliefs. Salary will increase on completion of full training and upon completion of Level 4 qualification.
All successful applicants will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check (Criminal Background Check) and safer recruitment checks as part of their application for employment.
