We are looking to build an enthusiastic and experienced team to assist our 8-year-old son who has ASD. We would like our team to have professional experience in working with young children with complex needs. Those without this required professional experience will not be considered unfortunately.
Our son requires a 2-1 level of support. This is due to the challenging behaviour he may present at any time. Duties will include taking him to parks, play areas and to the swimming. Aspects of personal care will be included such as nappy changing, showering/bathing and dressing.
The rota will consist of 2 Saturdays of the month, working 7 hours. There will also be one weekend sleepover per month starting on a Saturday at 2pm until 2pm on the Sunday. We would rotate this between staff members. Weekdays may be offered during the holiday periods; weekdays will be flexible.
You will receive £15 per hour. We require those with a driving licence and access to a car along with business insurance. Those employed will undergo a PVG check. A contract will be provided along with holiday pay.
