Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day care and support of children and young people living in our home. You will provide emotional and practical support, contribute to care planning, and ensure each young person feels safe, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build trusting, therapeutic relationships with children and young people based on empathy, consistency, and respect.
  • Provide individualised care and support that reflects the unique needs and backgrounds of each young person.
  • Support children with daily routines, including education, activities, mealtimes, and personal care where appropriate.
  • Promote the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of each young person through positive role modelling and active engagement.
  • Accurately record and report observations, incidents, and progress in line with company policies and safeguarding regulations.
  • Support the implementation of care plans and contribute to their regular review alongside the wider team.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment in accordance with health & safety and Ofsted standards.
  • Uphold and promote the company’s core values of transparency, integrity, and dedication in all aspects of your work.
