A bit about the role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Moray Group Activities is launching an exciting new service, offering short social opportunities for children and young people aged 5-18 with additional support needs. Our mission is to create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment where young people can build confidence, develop social skills, and enjoy engaging activities.
We’re looking for a Children’s Services Practitioner to join our team and play a key role in planning, organising, and delivering diverse weekly group sessions held after school and on weekends. You’ll provide high-quality support, ensuring each session is safe, engaging, and tailored to the needs of our participants. Flexibility is essential, as sessions will take place after school during the week and on Saturday mornings. The ability to travel across Moray is also required, as locations will be needs-based.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new and impactful service. You’ll work in a dynamic and rewarding role, where no two days are the same. We offer flexible working hours, the chance to contribute to an exciting project, and opportunities for professional development.
If you have experience working with children and young people, particularly those with additional support needs and neurodiversity, and a creative, adaptable approach to delivering activities, we’d love to hear from you. Join us in making a real difference in the lives of young people across Moray!
