Team Leader – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Wisbech
Pay: £14.17 per hour (Days) | £15.69 per hour (Nights)
Shifts: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM (Days) | 8:00 PM – 8:30 AM (Nights)

About the Role:
As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children and young people with complex needs. You will lead and motivate a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality care and support that promotes positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and supporting a team of residential support workers
  • Ensuring the highest standard of care for children and young people
  • Promoting independence, emotional well-being, and social development
  • Overseeing care plans, risk assessments, and daily records
  • Managing safeguarding concerns and responding appropriately
  • Supporting staff development through training, guidance, and supervision
  • Working closely with external professionals and families

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in residential childcare or a similar setting
  • Leadership or supervisory experience within a care environment
  • A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it)
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for making a positive impact in young people’s lives
