Description

REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS:

  • Diploma in air conditioning and refrigeration or equivalent
  • Category 1 F-Gas qualification or equivalent
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with both engineering and office teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
  • Ability to use manufacturer service software
  • Understanding of data and its applications in diagnostics
  • Experience working with centrifugal/Turbocor compressors is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of other HVAC equipment such as air conditioning, air handling units (AHUs), and refrigeration is advantageous

Responsibilities
  • Independently service, maintain, and repair a range of chillers
  • Complete work on different types of compressors, including scroll, reciprocating, and screw
  • Compile dilapidation reports and assess equipment condition
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits and repair works
  • Conduct advanced fault finding and diagnostics
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of completed work
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies
  • Promote and adhere to health and safety best practices
