Description

One of our clients is looking for a motivated Bilingual Sales Rep - Food Processing Machinery Manufacturer to promote and sell food processing machines to Japanese and Asian restaurants, grocery stores, hotel/resort cafeterias, catering companies, and food service businesses. The ideal candidate will enjoy visiting customers, introducing products, and building strong relationships to grow sales in Vancouver as well as Alberta area. This position requires driver’s license with clean record and travel up to 50% around Vancouver and Alberta.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor degree in business or/and marketing
  • Fluent in English and other languages such as Chinese, Japanese or Korean.
  • 2-3 years of B2B Sales and account management experience
  • Interest in food or restaurant industry
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% including overnight travel.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment/machinery as needed. (20Kg)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Use of a personal vehicle is required; mileage reimbursement will be provided according to company policy.
  • Basic PC skills (email, Excel, order forms)
  • Sufficient space to store several demo machines for customer presentations.
  • This position is home office setting.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs in the food service industry, with a focus on businesses offering Asian cuisine and sushi and make recommendations to potential customers
  • Visit potential customers such as Japanese and Asian restaurants, grocery stores, hotel/resort cafeterias, catering companies, and food service businesses to introduce and sell food processing machines.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers and end-users by visiting exiting customers and maintaining the accounts.
  • Create quotes, process orders, and issue invoices
  • Handle customer questions, complaints, and provide basic troubleshooting support (training provided)
  • Handle customer complaints and suggest improvements
  • Help develop solutions for industry-related issues
  • Support the launch of new services and improvements for customers
  • Take the lead in understanding customer needs and providing suitable solutions
  • Coordinate with logistics and service teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation
