Description
1. Daily sales calls and telemarketing to the designated focus area (Chinese Market) in line with sales strategy 2. Cross-selling the Hotel’s product 3. To bring awareness of AYANA Midplaza, JAKARTA, by daily presentation to clients, following the sales call plan schedule 4. Generate daily leads by daily qualifying of potential corporate clients within the designated focus area 5. To entertain each of the guests in-house and bookers of potential companies as an appreciation toward the support and build strong engagement for future businesses. 6. Actively monitoring competitors' activities and assisting in sales intelligence/reader boards review 7. Actively participate in the preparation and selling of the new products - services, and refer sales leads to appropriate personnel within AYANA Hotels 8. Develops and maintains contact with business generators, meeting and convention planners, and corporate accounts closely allied to the Hotel business 9. Builds profile and awareness within the Chinese marketplace through attendance at various events 10. Plan and conduct a familiarization hotel tour and site inspection 11. Travel when required to promote the hotel and develop potential business 12. Monitors and grows the existing business and inputs into weekly/monthly sales strategy review meetings to maximize business 13. Interfaces with operations on a timely basis (to include pre- and post-meetings for groups, VIP’s and etc) 14. Initiates and prepares proposals and or agreements for business leads timely manner 15. Assists in the evaluation of sales and marketing activities 16. Completing daily, weekly and monthly report for performance review together with DOS/DOSM/EAM SM & Rooms 17. Keeps himself/herself fully informed at all ongoing promotions of all hotel services including Spa, Restaurants, Weddings, Room Packages and etc. 18. Pro-actively sells the hotel’s festive season products including special menus, hampers and event tickets 19. At all time keeps very well groomed 20. Assists in collecting contacts to grow customer database for FB department. 1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 2. 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3. Language : Chinese: an excellent command of spoken, reading, and written Chinese is necessary English: an excellent command of spoken, reading, and written English is necessary 4. Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company. 5. Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities. 6. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 7. Good communications and writing skills
