JOB TITLE: CHIROPRACTIC CLINIC ASSISTANT - FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST & REHABILITATION ASSISTANT

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including English, Maths, and Science.
  • Experience in an administrative, reception, customer service or retail.
  • Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Publisher; experience with Canva and social media is a plus.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ICT qualifications (e.g., ECDL, CLAIT, RSA).
  • First Aid at Work Certificate.
  • Experience in marketing and social media.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Chiropractic Clinic Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our clients receive excellent care and service. Your responsibilities will include managing the front desk, performing general office and administrative duties and assisting with patient spinal rehabilitation (training provided, no prior experience required). Currently, this position requires afternoon/evening shifts to be covered , with flexibility for overtime to cover team members’ holidays which may include morning shifts (8am -12.30pm). Afternoon and evening availability (1 pm – 7:30 pm) is essential. Potential for hours to increase.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and patients, ensuring a warm welcome and answering any queries.
  • Manage the clinic’s front desk operations, including booking appointments, taking payments, and handling phone and email inquiries.
  • Assist the chiropractor in delivering high-quality care, guiding patients through their treatment plans
  • Assist in patient’s spinal rehabilitation programs by helping patients in and out of spinal rehabilitation equipment (training provided once confident at front desk responsibilities).
  • Maintain a tidy reception area, manage reading materials, and perform light cleaning as needed.
  • Support clinic events and promotions, including social media updates and client engagement using Canva.
  • Stay informed about chiropractic care and health topics to discuss with clients.
  • Participate in team meetings and attend training workshops or conferences (1-2 per year, expenses paid).
  • Assist with team events such as posture screenings and community talks.
  • Perform administrative tasks like scanning, filing, and managing clinic documents.
