Description

Busy chiropractic clinic seeking a Chiropractic Assistant. Candidate must be reliable and a quick-thinker with the ability to move fast and to multi-task while working in a dynamic environment. This position involves a lot of patient care. If you are a people person and a hard worker then this job is right for you!
Position is part-time starting at approximately 20-30 hours a week with the possibility of more hours as schedule fluctuates. Hours involve morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Must be reliable/dependable
  • Must be available to work during hours of operation
  • Must be professional
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be punctual
  • Candidate must have experience utilizing strong customer service skills, excellent telephone skills and a pleasant personality
  • Able to communicate effectively with the Doctor, office manager, patients and guests
  • Must have ability to reach, bend, squat, pull and lift approximately 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work cohesively with others in a fun and fast paced environment
  • Previous Chiropractic Assistant experience preferred
  • Clinical, professional appearance is mandatory
  • Flexible work schedule with ability to fill in for shifts that become available

Responsibilities

Position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Greet patients with a positive attitude
  • Rooming patients and accurately charting symptoms
  • Setting patients up on our Spinal Decompression tables
  • Administering physical therapy modalities to patients
  • Assisting doctor, office manager, and colleagues
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Answering telephones
  • Filing and performing general office responsibilities
  • Verifying insurance benefits
  • Submitting insurance authorizations
  • Effectively handling money and ability to balance a money drawer
  • Cleaning/maintaining work environment
  • Completing in-house laundry
