Description:
Flourish Family Chiropractic is looking for a kind and professional chiropractic assistant/ receptionist to join our team. We offer chiropractic, naturopathy, acupuncture, athletic therapy, massage therapy, reflexology and rehabilitation. We are looking for a friendly, energetic team player who can multi-task and ensure that patients’ needs are met.
We have two clinic locations: Nobleton and Bond Head
Job Duties include:
- Provide excellent customer service/customer care
- Answering telephones, emails and other patient inquiries
- Scheduling appointment
- Greeting and checking patients in/out
- Submitting Extended healthcare billing (insurance policies)
- Process and maintain client files, activity and payments
- Booking appointments for multidisciplinary practitioners
- Maintain a pleasant and patient centered atmosphere
- Manage clinic flow and organization
- Communicating with patients, practitioners and other receptionists
- Able to compose & word process professional correspondence.
- Cleaning clinic and patient spaces.
- Maintaining house keeping, hygiene & clinic aesthetic standards.
- Maintaining correct stock levels.
- Performing minor IT & Mac support.
- Social Media Administration.
- Opening, closing & key-holding responsibility.
Experience, knowledge skills and abilities:
- Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
- Competent using a Mac Computer
- Previous JaneApp Software use is an asset however will be taught on the job (used for booking and billing)
- Comfortable using/ willing to learn QuickBooks
- Comfortable working with Canva to create social media and office posts
- Confident in creating social media content
- Fluent in the English language (verbal and written)
- Administrative and/or medical assistant experience (preferred)
- Have experience dealing with Extended Healthcare billing (preferred)
- Provide excellent customer service with a lovely & professional telephone manner
Applicants must be able to work in multiple clinic locations (Nobleton and Bond Head) and therefore must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle. Available times and days as follow:
- Tuesday 10:30am-7:00pm in Bond Head
- Thursday 11:30am-7:00pm in Nobleton
- Friday 9:30am-3:30pm in Nobleton
- Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm in Nobleton (twice a month)
This is a Part-time permanent position (15+ hours) with the opportunity to increase hows in future.
