We are located near Columbia University and have been serving the neighborhood for over 15 years. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, handling insurance verification and billing, and maintaining patient records. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Front Desk Management:
  • Greeting patients and creating a welcoming environment.
  • Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing the reception area.
  • Collecting payments, such as copays and deductibles.
  • Maintaining patient records and managing the patient database.
  • Verifying insurance information and benefits.
  • Billing and Coding:
  • Processing insurance claims and following up on outstanding payments.
  • Accurately coding procedures for billing purposes.
  • Maintaining organized billing records.
  • Understanding and applying relevant billing codes.
  • General Office Tasks:
  • Managing office supplies and maintaining a tidy reception area.
  • Providing excellent customer service to patients.
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed.
