Fiber Glass Systems, a business under NOV is hiring! These DAY SHIFT positions are routinely scheduled Monday through Thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm. This entry-level position is located in Andrews, TX and ensures the safe and quality fabrication of our tanks and wastewater products before shipment to our customers. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Operates fiberglass chop gun. Assists chop gun operator with tasks. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Utilize safe work habits. Wear appropriate PPE. Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures. Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Ability to pass a drug screen & background check. Three years of verifiable work history preferred. Must be able to work overtime & shift work as required. Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required. Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations. Factory environment with large range in temperature changes. Standing, Walking, Bending/Stooping, Push/Pull, and Repetitive Movement up to 12 hours daily. Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly.
