My Well respected Client are recruiting for a CHP Engineer to be based anywhere remotely
Salary iro 50k plus paid accommodation during working week if away from base
40 hours a week

Someone with 15 years of solid CHP service and maintenance experience, with relevant controls system knowledge in addition to mechanical expertise.

  • They are seeking a qualified and experienced Heat Pump Engineer with expertise in Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems to join their successful team
  • The candidate will have both mechanical and electrical qualifications and will be comfortable with field-based work, travelling approximately 75% of the time to customer sites (although a significant number are based within two hours of their office

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Must be qualified in both electrical and mechanical engineering.
  • Proven experience in the installation, service, and maintenance of Ground Source Heat Pumps and Combined Heat and Power (CHP) units.
  • Strong ability to diagnose and repair faults in both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Must have a valid, clean UK driving license as a company vehicle will be provided.
  • Able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, providing clear technical guidance.
Responsibilities
  • Install, commission, and set up ground source heat pump systems and CHP units according to company standards and client specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on both ground source heat pumps and CHP units, with installed equipment typically in the 500kW to 1mW range, but larger installations are within the portfolio.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical faults in both ground source heat pump and CHP systems.
  • Provide high-quality technical support and advice to clients regarding the operation and maintenance of their systems.
  • Complete service reports, maintain accurate records of service work, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
