ANGLO AMERICAN STEELMAKING COAL

Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world. In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, and have additional joint venture interests in steelmaking coal and manganese, as well as copper exploration projects underway in North West Queensland and Western Australia.
Job Description
-We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Scheduler to assist the CHPP team with developing mechanical maintenance schedules. Reporting into the Work Management Coordinator, the CHPP Maintenance Scheduler will work closely with the planners on site to schedule works for the CHPP.
With extensive interactions across various departments, you will require solid written and verbal communication skills, enjoy solving problems and be an effective team player. This role will ultimately see you maintain a discipline CHPP schedule and integrate with other CHPP departments, with an emphasis on seeking opportunities to optimise the schedule for selected strategies and work packages, while making the most efficient use of resources to achieve this.
To be successful in this role you will ensure compliance with all Anglo American safety and operating systems and a commitment to working together as part of a capable, friendly and professional team to achieve business objectives.
