WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking a highly motivated CHPP Technician - Mechanical Plant & Support to join our safety and result-driven team. You will be joining a highly motivated team where everyone contributes to our positive culture. These positions are permanent full time, working a Monday to Friday, day shift only roster. We offer an attractive remuneration package including performance-based bonuses.

AS A CHPP TECHNICIAN, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Assisting in frontline delivery of the Mangoola Coal Mechanical Engineering Control Plan
Inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical apparatus in accordance with Australian and mine standards
Proactively working with the CHPP team to ensure that asset management and production targets are achieved.
Participating and contributing to our proactive safety culture.
Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance & workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the Mangoola Coal values.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

You are a qualified Mechanical Tradesperson (Fitter/Boilermaker) (essential).
You have previous experience as a Mechanical technician in a CHPP or fixed plant industrial setting.
You are familiar with crushers, conveyors, vibrating screens, centrifuges, industrial pumps, and similar equipment
You have a high regard for your personal safety and the safety of your teammates.
You have the ability to follow a plan and the resilience to adapt to a challenging and dynamic environment.
You demonstrate a positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to working proactively.
You are a team player with a high level of safety awareness, an attitude for outstanding performance, and a willingness to contribute to a winning team.
